How many guests can you accommodate – day & evening?
120 daytime guests (includes children) with a maximum of 200 evening guests overall.
Minimum numbers apply which vary depending on the day of the week. The minimum package we have is 50 adult guests.
Can we hold our ceremony there too? Is there an additional charge to do this?
Yes. This is included in most packages, our evening receptions do not include a ceremony and it is just reception only.
Is there a changing/prep area for the bridal party?
The Wedding Lodge is available from 11am on the morning of the wedding until 10am the following day. Included in Wedding Package.
What is the rental fee inc. VAT and what is included in this price? Is there a discounted price for off-season or Sun-Fri?

YES
What % is the deposit and when would this be required?
£1000 deposit is required to secure dates 2025/2026. Provisional bookings can be held for 2 weeks prior to confirming a date.
What is the payment plan for the full bill?
Scheduled Payments required: Deposit Payment £1000 2025/2026 + 2nd Payment 6 Months prior to Wedding Date £2600 (2025/2026). Final Balance Payment 3 weeks prior to Wedding Date.
Is there a cancellation policy?
We must be informed of all cancellations in writing signed by the couple. Any scheduled payments received are non – transferable and non-refundable. This is stated in the terms & conditions of our wedding contract.
Is there flexibility with the menu choices?
In our standard package we offer a 3 course choice menu for your guests which couple will choose. 3 Starters, 3 Mains and 3 Desserts. Our Winter package and Late Availability package offers a set menu, we will always allow you to add an additional choice off the vegan menu so that all of your guests are covered.
Do you cater for vegans/vegetarians?
YES. We have both Vegetarian and Vegan Menus available.
Can you accommodate special dietary requirements, i.e. allergies or gluten-free etc.?
YES all dietary requirements are catered for.
Do we need to pay extra to hire the cake stand & knife, chair covers & bows?
We provide both square and round cake stands with knife all included in Wedding Package. No extra cost. We do not provide chair covers or bows.
Will there be other weddings/events booked on the same day? Do we have exclusive use?
NO other events or weddings booked on same day. We are an Exclusive Wedding Venue this cost is included in the package.
How long do we have use of the event space?
We have a licence until 1am.
Can we move things around and decorate to suit our purpose or are there decoration guidelines and restrictions?
We work with the couple on this. We would not allow the wedding meal outside. Due to Health and Safety issue no decorations can be hung from ceiling in ‘McIntyre Suite’ unless fitted by a venue dresser, we do not want our venue staff or customers to go up on ladders in the venue for safety reasons.
Can we use real candles?
YES, in the McIntyre Suite with the meal, however an open flame is not permitted as a aisle runner decoration.
What time can we start setting up – is it possible to start the set up the day before?
When there is no wedding taking place day prior to your wedding date it is possible to start set up then between 10am & 4pm. If there is a wedding taking place day prior then set up would take place the morning of the wedding from 10am. Our staff can put out favours/most decorative items.
How early can deliveries be for set up made?
The day before if there is no wedding taking place. From 10am the morning of the wedding if there is a wedding the day prior. Wedding cake must be delivered day of wedding, this will be sat on the cake stand on arrival and wont be stored in the kitchen.
What is the additional cost for children & evening guests?
Children £17.50, Teenagers will be half the price of the adults. No charge for evening guests
Are there restrictions on what kinds of entertainment or music we have? What time must the music end?
All live music including DJ’s must cease at midnight. The bar is open until 1am so you can enjoy a winding down hour.
Can the venue accommodate a DJ or live band?
YES but must be organised by couple.
Are taxis or public transport easily accessible?
Taxis can be phoned at end of evening by staff our local Taxi Company is Wrights Taxis based in Alexandria. The nearest train station is 5 miles away at Balloch.
How many rooms do you have available to guests?
We do not have rooms at our venue. There are privately owned Lodges and a Guest House within the grounds of our venue. Accommodation enquiries should be made with our Lodges team. No discounts are available for wedding bookings as Lodge accommodation is a separate business.
Do you provide a complimentary wedding lodge?
YES. It is part of every wedding package. Access 11am on Wedding Day until 10am the following day.
Is the coordinator onsite the day of the wedding?
YES. A member of our wedding team will be there to run things on the day.
How late will the bar be open?
1am Last orders will be at 12:30am.
How many staff will be available for your wedding?
We staff according to the size of wedding.
Is there a PA system available for speeches?
YES
Do you allow fireworks, lanterns or fire pit?
No as we are situated within The Trossachs National Park.
Are there any restrictions on where the flowers and decorations will be placed?
Due to Health and Safety issues no decorations can be hung from ceiling in the McIntyre Suite.
Are there any restrictions on what kind of confetti is allowed and is there a charge for the clean-up of it afterwards?
We ask that natural confetti is used (petals, leaves for examples.) No clean up charge. We do not allow for any confetti indoors. If you are using a venue dresser’s aisle runner it is always best to confirm with them also.
Is there a safe place for gifts?
YES. We have a secure post box for cards. No extra charge for use.
Are there adequate parking facilities? Can guests leave their cars overnight and collect them the next day?
YES. We have large car park. If there is a wedding the following day we ask that cars be picked up in the morning before 12pm.
Are there any additional hidden costs like a service charge, gratuity, cleaning fees, or overtime charges?
NO, we do not have any hidden costs.
What are the ceremony times?
You can choose between 1pm, 1:30pm or
2pm.
What time is the meal at?
Your guests are seated at 4pm
When do evening guests arrive?
We suggest Evening guests arrive at
7:30pm
Do you allow outside vendors?
We allow Food trucks for evening buffet
only, there is a site fee of £300, they would need to bring their own power
source as we cannot provide electricity
Do you allow sweetie table/crisp wall?
Yes, this is not an issue with us!
Can we use the jetty?
Yes, you can use the jetty for photos and to even
arrive by boat!
Do you allow Alcoholic Favours?
We do allow alcoholic favours however
there is a corkage fee of £2 per bottle.
What stationery do you do?
We can provide table plans, table names,
place cards and menu selections.
Are the fairly lights and sheer fabric on the wall and ceiling always
there?
No this is there by All Dressed up our recommended venue dresser,
this is not something that we provide.
Is the restaurant open throughout the week?
No, we are primarily a
wedding/events venue only.
Can we hire a photo booth?
Yes, this would go into our foyer, just let us
know in advance and the size of the photobooth.
Are dogs allowed in the venue?
Dogs are allowed for the ceremony and
the photographs, however, are not allowed in the McIntyre Suite for the sit
down meal.
