How many guests can you accommodate – day & evening?
120 daytime guests with maximum overall day and evening 200 guests.

Minimum Number of 50 Adult Daytime Guests required for weddings held here at ‘The Cruin.

Can we hold our ceremony there too? Is there an additional charge to do this?
Yes. Ceremony Charge £600.

Is there a changing/prep area for the bridal party?
Bridal Lodge from 11am morning of wedding and overnight. Included in Wedding Package.

What is the rental fee Inc. VAT and what is included in this price? Is there a discounted price for off-season or Sun-Fri?

What % is the deposit and when would this be required?
£600. Deposit required to confirm date.

What is the payment plan for the full bill?
Scheduled Payments required:  – Deposit £600 + 2nd Instalment 6 Months £2000 prior to Wedding Date + Final Payment 3 weeks prior to Wedding date.

Is there a cancellation policy?
We must be informed of all cancellations in writing signed by couple. Any scheduled payments received are non – transferable and non-refundable. Terms & Conditions of our Wedding Contract

Is there flexibility with the menu choices?
We have extensive choice on our Wedding Menu.

Is there a vegetarian alternative?
YES. We have both Vegetarian and Vegan Menu available

Can you accommodate special dietary requirements, i.e. allergies or gluten-free etc.?
YES all dietary requirements are catered for.

Do we need to pay extra to hire the cake stand & knife, chair covers & bows?
We provide both Square and Round Cake Stand and Knife. All within Wedding Package. No extra cost. We do not provide chair covers or bows.

Will there be other weddings/events booked on the same day? Do we have exclusive use?
NO other events or weddings booked on same day. We are Exclusive Wedding Venue. £600 Exclusive Venue Hire. Venue Hire compulsory.

How long do we have use of the event space?
We have late licence till 1am.

Can we move this around and decorate to suit our purpose or are there decoration guidelines and restrictions?
We work with couple on this. We would not allow wedding meal outside.  Due to Health and Safety issue no decorations can be hung from ceiling in McIntyre Suite.

Can we use real candles?

What time can we start setting up – is it possible to start the set up the day before?
When no wedding taking place day prior to your wedding date it is possible to start Set Up. If wedding taking place day prior. Morning of wedding for Set Up

How early can deliveries be for set up made?
Day before if no wedding taking place. Wedding cake must be delivered day of wedding

In the package deals – what is the additional cost for children & evening guests over the set number?
Children £14.50. No charge for evening guests.

Can we do a food tasting prior to the day? Is there an additional charge for this?
We hold Wedding Menu Tasting Evenings. Cost for this evening £30 per person this includes glass of Prosecco on arrival and Glass of House Wine with meal. We can arrange food tasting for couples who can’t make our Menu Tasting Evenings. £30 per person. This includes glass of Prosecco on arrival and Glass of House Wine with meal

Are there restrictions on what kinds of entertainment or music we have? What time must the music end by?
All live music including DJ’s must seize at midnight. Late Licence till 1am.

Can the venue accommodate a DJ or live band?
YES but must be organised by couple.

Are taxis or public transport easily accessible?
Taxis can be phoned at end of evening by staff. Nearest Train Station 5miles at Balloch...

How many rooms do you have available to guest?
We do not have rooms at our venue. We have privately owned Lodges and Guest House on grounds of our venue.  All accommodation enquires must be made with owners.

Do you offer a discount for multiple room bookings?
Owners of Lodges would have to advise.

Do you provide a complimentary room or upgrade for the bride & groom?
YES. Part of Wedding Package. Wedding Lodge for Day/Night of wedding

Is the coordinator onsite the day of the wedding?

How many staff will be available for your wedding?
We staff accordingly for size of wedding.

Is there a PA system available for speeches?

No. Due to the fact that we are situated within The Trossach National Park.

Are there any restrictions on where the flowers and decorations will be placed?
NO. Due to Health and Safety issue no decorations can be hung from ceiling in McIntyre Suite.

Are there any restrictions on what kind of confetti is allowed and is there a charge for the clean-up of it afterwards?
We ask biodegradable confetti be used. No Clean up charge.

Is there a safe place for gifts?
YES. We have secure Post Box for monies gifts on day. No extra charge for use.

Are there adequate parking facilities? Can guests leave their cars overnight and collect them the next day?
YES. We have large secure Car Park. If wedding on following day we ask cars be picked up in morning.

Are there any additional hidden costs like a service charge, gratuity, cleaning fees, or overtime charges?
