Coming from Glasgow, head West on the M8, crossing the Erskine Bridge to join the A82. Head North for 12 miles and the Cruin is on the right a few miles past Balloch and is situated in the grounds of Loch Lomond Castle Lodges.Train
There is a half hourly service from Glasgow Queen Street to Balloch station. From Balloch it is a plesant 30 minute walk to The Cruin, alternatively a taxi ride is only a few minutes and a taxi rank is adjacent to the station.Plane
From Glasgow or Edinburgh airports, public transport can be used to travel to Queen Street Station in Glasgow, then follow train directions as above.
